I'm using 265/70 R17 tires. The wheels are the original split rims on my '42 3/4-ton special. I had the tires put on a year ago, with no problem since then. At the recommendation of my tire guy, I'm running them with tubes. You can see pictures of how they look on the truck

By the way, if you have an extra one of those wheels, I sure would be happy to buy it from you. I have four good ones, but I'd feel safer with five.
