Not bad! I'm 23 building a truck, I bought the truck when I was 18 or 19 years old. Lets just say my ideas were very different when I was 19 years old. I wanted everything shaved and chopped, thank god at the time I was too poor to actually follow through with anything. I love stock trucks, they have character. At times I wish I went with a 235ci I6 rather than my 350V8 and TH350 trans oh well what's done is done. But like you I have learned a stock body is the way to go.
