I had already researched the conversion chart... That just told me what the width of the tire was and not the actual tread width...
I found online a site that told me all the dimensions but the tread width...
Emailed a couple of tire sites waiting to hear back...
Tire stores around here seem to have a shortage of the 215 to measure... Lots of 225 and up...
It seems the best size for radials is the 215/85-16 as cletis posted... I will be going with the LT type...
