| | | | Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 13 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 13 | I started restoring my 53 ¾ ton pickup. The 216 motor had a crack block so it will not be used. I have on hand a 1953 235 motor out of a Belair. My first question is will a 292 motor fit as the 216 motor? The next question is on the 235 motor how much HP can I get out of the motor? And what do I have to do to get it. I will be bolting up the motor to a turbo 350 due to I am unable to drive a stick due to only on leg. I am trying to keep the truck look as original as possible.
