some people say its a big no no .not to sure why ??
The friction between the tube and the tire causes premature sidewall failure, especially if the tire is run at highway speeds. Tubeless tires have an extra layer of rubber inside that is essentially the same material as a tube, which is what causes the friction issue. I know that there are the so-called "radial tubes", but those are intended for tube type radial tires, which are not very common these days.
I've been in the tire industry for almost 20 years, and have seen enough tire failures from tubes in tubeless tires to warn against it at least on highway use tires.
