I would imagine he'd like to drive over to the platter with his chrome rather than paying freight but I'm guessing that's not going to happen in your area.
I can't tell you where but when you check with any platter ask what type of chrome process will be done.
Cheap chrome is not worth didly squat, and while the price may sound attractive, you regret it down the road.

A triple plate chrome process, copper, nickel, chrome, will give you quality chrome done by a good experienced platter and that's what I'd want to spend my money on so that down the road I'm still happy and the chrome still looks good.
Unless someone has a suggestion, you might check the internet as it seems all answers are found there. Well, most all.
