| | | | Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 187 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 187 | I have a 1950 half ton Chev pickup, with the engine block numbers I have a 235 for 1954. Attached is a 4 speed on the floor with a two piece drive shaft with the centre support bearing. Have been trying to identify what the tranny is and the rear end. The wheels are a 5 bolt and not the 6 as I was told that's what came with the trucks in 1950. I am not able to contact the previous owner to verify what is original or what has been upgraded. Does anyone know if this configuration was used on the 3100 series or for the 3600 as well. How does one know if they have a 3600?
