#61799 06/16/2006 1:29 AM | Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 1,897 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Dec 2004 Posts: 1,897 | the 216s had a very tall side cover in relation to the later 235s. a 216 would have a valve cover with 2 nuts on top holding it down. a 228 to 302 gmc would also have 2 nuts holding the valve cover down, gmc would be stamped on the cover.
