I just bought four 8 lug 16 inch rims for my 48 3/4 ton chev. The rims are off early 80s chev truck. The front rims just barely hit the tie rod. I have a guy that will plasma cut me a spacer from 3/16 or 1/4 inch metal that i can put right over the studs, basically a ring with holes in it.he will do the job for $50. Does anybody have any thoughts on this. Is there something else I should do? Thanks, FREEZING UP HERE IN MINNESOTA
