If those rims are are the same as the ones on my military, the rim width is 6.5. I thought that you could only run a 7.50 or 8.25 tire on them? On my truck anyways, their is enough room to stick your hand between the duals. If the rubbing of the tires is only issue, then I think I might look into 9x20's. I thought you couldn't run 9.00 because it bubbles over and affects the integrity of the sidewall.
This is making me think - what size tube would you use?
