Hello everyone, I've been captivated by AD trucks since I was a kid, we had a '47 chevy 1 ton with a flat deck and hoist on the farm. I now have a complete '53 GMC 1/2 ton project. I bought it from a neighbour, towed it home and unseized the motor 10 years ago. I removed the original motor and tranny, intending to drop in a V8, and then had second thoughts. It's been in the barn ever since. I also own a 47-50? body mounted on a 4X4 chassis, and a 47-50? parts truck(no box and cab damage). I intend to restore the '53 GMC some day, since the truck is complete and in decent shape, and use the other stuff to build a non- original, modified truck.
