As you know I like Detroits, but seeing that he stated "1-Ton" I hesitated to say Detroit in a 1-Ton truck. I've been kind of on the fence about putting a 3-53 or especially a 4-53 in one because of the weight. Then there's the option of an Aluminum Detroit, which would weigh a lot less, but I'm not quite yet real sure about the Aluminum engine. I would actually try to stay away from one, but would possibly consider it because of the weight factor only.
What is your opinion of a Detroit in a 1-Ton?
I hope no one take this as a hi-jack. I figure it is good conversation about 1-Tons and Diesels.
