Hey Guys -
A little expertise is needed here please. I peeled away and threw out the old carpet this weekend and found an unusual sight. To make a long story short, I have found a very very small leak where the clutch rod goes through the firewall. The rubber boot that should go there is nowhere to be found. Is the rubber boot responsible for keeping the fluid where the fluid is supposed to be? When I push in my clutch, should there always be a small amount of fluid come back that the boot captures and recirculates back onto the rod? Again this is a very small leak but over time has made a very big mess on the floorpan. I thank you in advance for any insight.
