58 car was first side mount engine
up to 57 6cyl had center front mount car and truck. 55 to 57 had 2 front mounts set at an angle on V8's. Been awhile since I really messed with alot of this on a regular basis but pretty sure I'm remembering correctly.
Also if I remember correctly 55 was first year for angled bell housing mounts. Vs' 54 back straight mounts.
