yes, the float level was off, and when we went to adjust, the little paper washers leaked, went and got the last set the auto parts store had, adjusted again, but not enough, and we didnt want to adjust again, maybe screwing up the little round gaskets again. we will ait until he gets more, then get the floats correct.
it kinf of hesitates off the line, and takes a while to get up to speed. to me it seems under carb'd, starving for fuel, because i would think if it were over carb'd you would be able to smell it in the exhaust of see it. it does not smoke at all.
my 57 was just a little over jetted and i could smell it.
so i am wondering if it has a 350cfm and it needs a 500cfm, but cant do anything until i find out what size it now has on it.
also, i thought holley sold white feflon float adjusting little washers, but horsepower sales says no. any of you knwo about that ? i swear back in the day, 70's early 80's i had a set on some of my cars.
