Some of you guy's have done such fantastic work with 292's, I have a question. I have a 64' 4x4, with a 292, four speed, and 3:73 gears.(all original). I have decided to keep this truck, and sell the 71 4x4. I know how well this truck will pull, but 3-4 times a year, I need to pull my trailer(car hauler). I don't need or want to speed down the highway, but don't want to be too helpless either. I recently rebuilt this motor, so I am hesitant to tear into it, after all that work. Would a dual 2b intake, with headers make any difference? or would this be too much for the stock cam? I've seen where some have suggested using an rv cam. Thanks for any advice!
