I have used the Mr. Gasket regulator with dual Carter-Webers but have removed it, with no deleterious effects.

I did not need (or try) to use a regulator with dual original-equipment Rochesters and had no problems after I adjusted poorly-set float-heights inside the carburetors.

Thanks to a PM from Fla54Chevy3100, a few words above now now spelt correctly - the original words led to a very odd meaning. Thanks, Dave

The 216 and early 235 engines are not "splash oilers" -- this is a splash oiler.
