Truckasaurus 'Bolter T Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 90 Vallejo CA	Patrick's Antique Autos has a Hurst model specifically for the '48-'54 application, it places the shifter further forward in the same location as the stock 4 speed, no cutting or fabricating, he even has a floor pan and boot. Ray
