You might want to get a shop manual reprint for your 58. I got mine at Ecklers and enjoy it both from the information standpoint and from an entertainment stand point. (They weren't so PC back then, so the intro is pretty interesting compared to the way we talk today.) I've already used it a few times and it has good (I think) explanations of how to perform all routine maintenance. I haven't needed it for anything out of the ordinary yet (thank God) and may never use it for any major repairs, but I still consider it a good addition (much more usefull than the 1958 Motors Repair manual that my grandfather used, and I got with the truck).
