| | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 | Chevy car used the untapped heads and manifold alternator mount through 68, 69 went to the tapped heads and long pump. Chevy pickup kept the short pump through 72 (for sure) but used tapped heads after 68 (IIRC). For certain, if your engine or rather it's heads are 68 or older it doesn't have any mounting holes on the heads.
