| | | | Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 1,317 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 1,317 | When I purchased my a/c system from Old Air they included a driver's side "stack" bracket that had the p/s pump or alternator mounted over the compressor and ran off the second compressor groove. I fabricated my own alternator mount for the passenger's side and used Steve's 2 groove modified balancer so I needed only one belt over the adaptor plate mounted early water pump. I have pictures of the alternator mount in my Webshots Chevy truck albums. If and when I want to add the p/s pump I can use the top part of the Old Air bracket.
You might want to check with Old Air for a bracket.
