I was given what I believe to be a 1954 GMC Hydramatic 100, 5 window deluxe model pickup. The numbers from the engine block I found are: E248219747, On the intake manifold the number is 2194817. The truck does not have a carburetor, probably removed by prior owner some years back. I would like to try to get it running, but need a carb for it. From looking on various websites I believe it may need a Zenith carb. I have a long retired mechanic who will help me out with this project and he says various models of carburetors will work. I hope someone here can help me out with a website or have ideas what may fit it. I will be active in this forum as things progress with the truck. | | |
