I dont remember anything about modified internals that would require the builder to do to get good fuel milage,other than not using a big cam or high compression. Just a good rebuild,stock internals,vacume secondarys,over drive,a descently high rear end(3.08,3.42)and easy on the throttle,should be 15 or more mpg.
