waldo53, thanks for that tip. I certainly would have tried it the other way first. I was looking through the manual, but couldn't find info on installation. In fact I couldn't find any info about the manifolds. I'll take a closer look today. However, anyone have some more tips. Like bolt torque specs, and installation sequence. I would just guess going from the center bolts and working alternate sides out slowly, tightening a little as I go. By the way, this is my first restoration.
