it is a credit card sized plate, either on the firewall, inside just under the dash, centered..visible when looking in from the doors, or on the passenger side cowl, under the hood when you lift it up, just above the fender area. Either one place or the other, or it has been removed. Both locations you should see two small holes, diagonally opposed, as the plates are attached with just two opposite corners.
