292 rods can be fit to a 235 or 261 crank to increase (or decrease) the stroke slightly by eccentric regrinding to the smaller 292 journal size (2.100" vs. 2.311"), but it's a lot of expensive and delicate work.
The distributor can be slightly modified to fit, the carburetor is a bit bigger, nothing else. | | |
