I get the feeling you're asking about 8 lug pickup truck adapted up to semi truck size?

Whoever sells the adapter should have an exact answer on the difference, if any, in track with (or wheel mounting surface offset) with the adapters. With that info you can look at the wheels you may want to use and decide if they fit in the fenders or not; you can calculate exactly where they sit.
