Well Gentlemen, this is the start to my 1949 3600 build. Superfly contacted me out of left field to get this truck. I was seriously going to pass until he said he could haul it. The cab I had was already being fit with patch panels (and needed to be re-done). This was completely cheaper than fixing the floor.

We start with the clip from the 3800 I got from my brother. This, the title, long running boards, doors and battery cover are all I have left from the original deal.

There is some real nice color on the firewall. It cleaned up pretty good with some cleaner wax.

My thought is, this truck came from the factory as a flat bed or inteded that way. The short running boards and the dark green paint on the stake pockets lead me to believe the bed was added later. I have the full length 3800 boards, I think I'm going to shorten them to have a 2 piece running board.

I ended up taking alot of rat crap and nesting out. Under the seat was packed and a layer over the floorboards.
