John,my brother drives a(forgive him)55 ford customline that he put a 351w in,he had clearence problems with a few things and the fan to radiator was one of them. He bent his fan blades and has been driving it for over a year and has had no problems with vibrations,noises or cooling. But on the other hand we've done some pretty shade tree things around here that has had some bad results and some that has not had bad results but it just was'nt the right way to do it,so I would definetly get more info on that sitution.
