I have a 55 235 1st series truck with a 235 second series engine. It's was converted to 12v years ago. It has a push button mounted on the dash, which is on it's way out, and I will be replacing the Foot Stomper that it originally came with. I think it has a 12v starter, not sure presently? I will take a look this weekend. Once again, someone mentioned in a previous thread that the Flywheel has to have a certain amount of teeth to match the starter?? How do I go about knowing how many teeth it has? Can I get a 6v starter to match the Flywheel? The engine is still in the truck, FYI. Thanks Guys!
