I don't know about the particular alternator in that weblink, but these disguised alternators are available from lots of vendors. They do seem to have earned a reputation for failing when they're run at reasonably high outputs though, probably because the cooling provided by the generator looking packaging isn't really up to the new alternator style output. The ones you're looking at may be fine, but it's a lot of money to spend to be disappointed if you get one of the others.
