The '78 has the GM 10 bolt diff. the '63 has the Dana 44-5f diff on it. The steering arms on the diffs. are totally different. I don't want to change out my diff. just to have power steering though. I found a drag link for raised trucks that might work. Instead of being straight, it is shaped like an "s" and I can get on with a 2" to a 6" suspention lift.
