| | | | Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 22 Apprentice | | Apprentice Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 22 | Problem is the truck that I took the gear off of doesn't sit as high as my '63. The '78 has the GM 10 bolt diff. the '63 has the Dana 44-5f diff on it. The steering arms on the diffs. are totally different. I don't want to change out my diff. just to have power steering though. I found a drag link for raised trucks that might work. Instead of being straight, it is shaped like an "s" and I can get on with a 2" to a 6" suspention lift.
"63 K10 chevy,406 mpfi small block, 350 trans, 33" tires.
