Tomorrow I plan on spraying a coat of epoxy and 2k on my 55.2 cab now that I am done with the body work. About a year ago I had the cab sandblasted and a coat of epoxy applied (I am using Nason Ful Poxy and their 2k primer).
I have been sanding all day and it is very hard to get a uniform dullness, the epoxy is extremely hard to sand. My question is this:do I have to sand the old epoxy to a perfect uniform smoothness i.e. no shiny areas before applying a second coat? I thought epoxy "bit" into the underlying layer. My second question is how long do I wait before spraying 2k over the epoxy? I am having trouble finding the Nason data sheet online.
