Looks like a fun project you've got there. With as many of these old grain trucks as there are abandoned in fields in this area, I think you could easily get a better cab.
I also like to hang out at the river, but I am on my four-wheeler usually playing in the mud.
if you see my toyota out there stop and say hi. I was wondering if there was anyone in Amarillo working on these old trucks. I see a lot of 60s and 70s running around but hardly anything from the 50s.
