The oil filer is mounted on the intake manifold with a couple of u-bolts. I'm putting a Clifford intake and a 4 bbl on my 261 and have noticed that the Clifford intake comes much further off the block than the stock one did. So much so that I'm pretty sure the oil filter would run up against the steering column - if it was mounted on the new intake. Any comments as to alternative places to mount the oil filter would be appreciated.
