If you have doors on your '53 they will work on a '54 cab. The door strikers may be different, but the doors will work. You will also need a pair of front fenders, as there is some difference between the fenders for 47-53 trucks and the fenders of a 54-55 truck. Some guys have installed a complete 47-53 front clip on the cab of a 54-55, so that may be an option for you.
