Building my exhaust now and decided to go with a straight-through cylindrical muffler. Looking inside the inner pipe has louver-like openings all facing the same direction but there is nothing on the thing indicating if the open side of these louvers face the engine or the tailpipe.
What direction do the open end of these louvers face? Or does it even matter?
