Hi bolters Im from Visalia Ca. I just purchased a 1950 3100 from my Uncle who has owned it since 1962. It has been garaged since 1974 when he decided to start its restoration but thatnever happened. Since it was garaged and in cali. there is almost no rust. and the only cancer is the right floor board from the leaking heater core. I have two boys ages 9 and 12 who have been working with me. We are taking it all the way down.the original 216 was replaced in 1972 with a 235. so it only has about 5000 miles on it and it turns freely so i am hpoing to use it without a major overhaul thanks for this forum i have gained a lot of information from it already
