There should be some clips along your frame rail that the line snaps into, when it exits the frame rail it makes a run to the fuel pump.
If it's close you can easily put a gentle bend in that line to make it fit.
The tubing is very malleable until it gets work hardened, but that only happens when you keep working the same spot over.
Unless you're going for a show restoration the mild bend in the line will not matter.
I cut and flared mine to accept a fuel filter before the pump.
