Ditto on that! I had a friend back in high school who got pinned under a torque tube when he disconnected it from the transmission on a 47 Chevy 2-door sedan. He had jack stands under the axle housing instead of the frame, and there was a lot of tension on the springs. He got away with some bruises and a couple of cracked ribs, but it could have been much worse!
