Sometimes exhaust shops tend to install what they have on-hand, which may not be exactly what you are looking for.
All you have to do is tell them what you want.
If you run the pipes yourself (did that on my car), just make sure to use mandrel bends. Bending stuff on a bench will flatten them and restrict flow.
