yeah, that'll be my next plan of attack if i can't find a sleeve with a thinner wall. but i'm puzzled as to why i can't even get it started in my press. and needing that much force spooks me regarding what might happen to the bearing race. maybe i received an oddball in my kit, bec even it's id was too small for the shaft, and i had to rat tail file it down. and consequently, once i got the .013 out of it, the id became smaller again and i had to file it again. which raises another bug; as it gets crushed on the shaft, it'll even get harder to crush bec of it's shrinking diameter
but on a good note, i drilled and tapped my crank for a damper bolt. and, i did it by hand with it in the block, thanks to some weird bit i found with some other 'inherited' bits. i've never seen a bit like this
