Yeah I have one for my 1960 235 and it is held on by just 2 bolts into the bell housing. It is just sheet metal. Its a common enough piece that I think lmctruck.com, Jim Carter old chevy parts, or even classictrucks.com should have one for you. Those places may charge you more than a junkyard though.
