I got my alternator,brackets,and wire.I'm going to hook it up to my existing regulator at the(BAT.)terminal.The alt.is only 45 amps,I'm using a 10 gauge wire,and I have a 30 amp breaker. Should I still fuse in between the alt.and reg.in order to use my charge gauge?
If I put the breaker in will continously pop because it is only 30 amps?
