For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2006 Posts: 237 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: May 2006 Posts: 237 | Got my kit from Novak for rebuilding my SM420. The bearings on the input shaft are behind an oil slinger that is screwed onto the shaft (left hand threads). I'm having a heck of a time getting mine off! I'm starting to marr the two holes for turning.
Anybody know of the location of a correct tool for removing the slinger? Any suggestions? Mine is on real tight for some reason. Never heard of others having this much trouble removing it.
Thanks! | | | |
