Hey Bolters,
Just returned from pick and pull empty handed,I found a t-5 in 88 s-15 GMC.Proceded to harvest it,pulled 4 bolts from tranny to bell housing,crossmember,driveshaft,shifter,striped off all the supports, shuold slide right out?Wrong.Comes out About 1/8-1/4 and stops-acts like maybe some kind of retainer or something in the bellhousing,is there? So I proced to pull all the bell housing bolts=bell slids about 1/2 and stops.I don't consider myself to be a amature wrench turner,matter of fact unless it involves having vehicle hooked to computer I do all my own work. I looked this tranny and bell over and over and it is clean should fall out.What am I missing?or do I need a bigger prybar.So anyway it started to rain/snow and I forefit to S-15. Has anyone else ever had this problem,Could the splines on the tranny be siezed to disk? As always Thanks for Help/input
