Great post... I need some advice. My 1960 lwb apache is just a frame as we speak. I have the 235/ 3 speed which came out (original) and I have a 250 out of an 84 gmc truck with a 700 R4 automatic. I want the automatic tranny, so do I do a whole engine tranny swap, or put the 700r4 on the 235. Can you advise the pros and cons of each.
