in this manual's 6-30 section, for the cam shaft flange, they describe using two flange gaskets to check flush fit in relation to the crank. my motor is a '61 and i can't find a manual in the manual project, but mine didn't have any gaskets there. i have a '68 manual, and it doesn't show that proceedure. was the flush fit proceedure discontinued by '61-68?
