For helping keep this great

on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 45 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 45 | I've searched the forums back five years but can't find a definitive answer to this question.
I have a '56 235 truck engine with 1/2" wide harmonic balancer and generator pulleys. To avoid moving the radiator in my '54 3100, I've ordered a short shaft water pump from Patrick's with a 3/8" wide pulley; a 1/2" wide pulley is not available.
Can I use a 3/8" wide belt with this setup or must I find a 3/8" harmonic balancer and generator pulley?
Finally '54
