I am prety sure in my state (mass), when you alter / tamper with the serial numbers / VINs, you are breaking the law. they ( VIN/ serial # ) can only be authorized or modified by the Registry of motor veh..
like I said in my last post... I'm just going to leave my original wrong numbers as is ( cuz they both match ) Your states
may be different. I'd suggest that you investigate more before you alter the serial tags...
